Ras grew up in Palm Beach county, moved to Miami to attend the U in 2009. While in school he met cofounders of his 1st startup which connected farmers and chefs in a peer to peer market. Post acquisition Ras worked for software companies as a product manager and began studying peer to peer electronic cash and the open source software ecosystem. After a 5 year tour in the CA Bay Area Ras returned to Miami for good. Today, Ras organizes Miami BitDevs every 1st Monday of the Month and is an active part of the growing startup and bitcoin community in South Florida.
