This is not a Baptist History review, but simply a question of: why are you a Baptist and not something else?  Why are you not a Methodist?  Why are you not a Presbyterian?  Why are you not some of these other denominations who claim to preach the gospel?
You say, “Because God is not with them!” Yet, how do you answer famous Methodist preachers like John and Charles Wesley seeing tens of thousands saved during revivals? How do you answer hundreds of thousands walking the sawdust trail and accepting the Lord under the preaching of a Presbyterian by the name of Billy Sunday? How do you answer tens of thousands saved under congregational preacher George Whitefield? That’s the question for you – why a Baptist and not another?  Let’s do our best to answer that question!
