God wants YOU to be happy. In the 1st place, He is a happy God. And the Bible says , “as he is so also are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). Therefore we are happy like Him. However, because He is a gentleman and He has given us free will, God will not force you to be happy. So, choose to be happy. Happiness is a choice. We make the choice to rejoice! Just as no one or nothing can make you happy, no one and nothing can make you UNhappy, either. We cannot say we are happy when we are with the ones we love. We actually CHOOSE to be happy in that moment. We can also CHOOSE to be unhappy in that moment. Philippians 4:4 says, “Rejoice in the Lord always.” Take delight. Make merry.
