In this episode, we talk to Professor Donal O'Shea, consultant endocrinologist based in St. Vincent’s University Hospital and St. Columcille’s Hospital and  Professor Corinna Hawkes O’Reilly, Director for the Centre of Food Policy at City, University of London. We look at the link between COVID-19 and Obesity, and discuss the evidence that obesity increases the risk of poorer health outcomes from COVID-19. We look at what this means for patients living with obesity and question whether obesity has risen on the political agenda as a result.
