The recording starts mid-afternoon in a sparsely wooded dry-seasonal-river bed with scattered human settlement.The birds are back to their roosts sheltering from the intense afternoon sunshine and heat. Some birds sing the rhythms while others contribute to punctuating lullabies; a slow afternoon jam that can easily induce one into succumbing to the proverbial forty winks. Other birds join in with bass, others with percussions and tambourines to compliment to the dynamic orchestra sequences.
