Listen "Review of Salem's Lot: Gary Dauberman Does Not Disappoint"
Episode Synopsis
In search of ideas for his newest novel, Ben Mears revisits Jerusalem's Lot, his childhood home in New England. He was scarred as a boy by the eerie Marsten House up on the hill, which the town's residents knew to avoid Sadisflix horreur. Ben discovers upon his return to Salem's Lot that Mr. Straker, a recently arrived antique merchant, has purchased the land. Before long, the town is plagued by unexplained disappearances. Ben investigates with some of the locals and begins to piece together a genuinely terrifying conspiracy. Since "Salem's Lot" was a two-part television film, it had the leisure and opportunity to carefully set up Stephen King's outstanding narrative. This attempts to fit everything into less than two hours.
