I am Carson Shaver a member of the Upper Skagit Indian Tribe,

Since the arrival of settler colonialism, the Indigenous voices of Turtle Island and Hawaii have been silenced. The voices of Native peoples, (since the civil rights movements), are finally being acknowledged and accepted. This podcast brings about these sacred voices and gives speakers a safe space to share Indigenous knowledge, as well as identify societal issues.
