Darren's guest is author and journalist Valur Gunnarsson, reviewing Eurovision, whaling, the two members of Pussy Riot who are amongst Iceland's newest citizens, and the proposed "alternate airport" tax. But the conversation also turns to the rest of this week, with Iceland's presidency of the Council of Europe concluding with a major summit in the capital.

Valur's latest book, and first in English, is called "What If Vikings Conquered The World?", which is published in the next few weeks.
