💁🏻 Concept: Regeneration
Regeneration is the secret, sovereign act of God in which He imparts new spiritual life to the sinner—what Jesus called being “born again.” It is not something we cause by our will or emotions, but a gracious work of the Holy Spirit who gives us new hearts, new desires, and a new nature. Biblically, regeneration precedes faith—it enables us to believe. Once spiritually dead, we are made alive by God’s mercy, brought from darkness to light, and empowered to follow Christ in true obedience.
📖 Bible Readings: John 3:3–8
(John 1:12-13, 3:3-8; Ezekiel 36:26–27; Titus 3:5; James 1:18; 1 Peter 1:3, 23; Ephesians 2:4–5)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
1. Regeneration makes dead people live.
2. Regeneration gives people a new heart.
3. Regeneration produces saving faith.
💪🏼 Applications:
1. Pray for the salvation of your family and friends.
2. Proclaim the gospel in the power of the Spirit.
3. Persuade by being a living proof of the gospel.
🎙Discussion:
Why is it powerful to be living proof of the gospel?
