Listen "The newest Sub Four high school Miler Jackson Heidesch on everything surrounding the race and more"
Episode Synopsis
Today I have the pleasure of speaking with the newest sub four high school miler, Jackson Heidesch!
Jackson is an extremely accomplished high school senior and is headed to Duke next year to continue his academic and athletic career. He just ran 3:59 in the mile to become the 20th high schooler to ever break four minutes and was a part of history as four high schoolers including himself went under four minutes in the same race. Some of his other accomplishments include finishing fifth at Nike cross nationals, winning New balance nationals in the mile and he’s a multi time individual and team state champion.
In this episode we discuss everything surrounding the night when he broke sub four, the NBA finals, His future at Duke, I introduce a new segment to the show which involves Jackson and I discussing some of the best running performances in the past week, and of course we wrap it up with a few would you rather questions.
