Listen "Ethan Strand on the value of running for your team, advice for incoming freshmen, UNC Podium hopes and more "

Episode Synopsis

Today I’m joined by UNC’s Ethan Strand!

In the past year Ethan was a finalist in both the NCAA 1500m and the Olympic Trials 1500m. He used a blistering kick to outlast a lot of his competition.

He also placed 4th in the indoor NCAA mile and broke a 1974 UNC record in the mile by running 3:54.62 at a meet earlier in the season. A record that I’d be willing to bet he will break again next year.

In our conversation Ethan’s discusses the value of having teammates that push you, having his younger brother now running at UNC, his advice to upcoming freshman and more.
