Today I’m joined by one of the most prestigious runners in recent high school history, Aaron Sahlman!
If you have been living under a rock the past couple years and don’t know who Aaron is, he won the 2022 Nike cross Nationals individually and as a team with Newbury park and he holds personal best of 1:48.91 (800), 4:00 (mile), 8:48 (3200), 8:01 (indoor 3k), and 14:14 (xc 5k). Throughout his high school career he was part of the indoor 4 by mile relay team that set the national record and he played a crucial role in multiple team cross country national titles. With all that being said he’s definitely made a name for himself and he’s not looking to slow down anytime soon.
On this episode we discuss why Sean Brosnan was such a good coach, his first few weeks at NAU, his first ever cross country win at NXN and more.
