The Examined Run discusses the ethics of sport, specifically the sport of running, through the lens of virtue ethics. As with any discussion of ethics, this one has many angles and nuances, and could have easily been a trilogy of books. The book is divided into 9 chapters. It starts with an introduction to the sport of running and virtue ethics, and ends with a discussion about the belief that humans are limitless.Sabrina Little a philosopher and elite runner making her well placed to writer an entire book about ethics in running. She has participated in the sport of running since adolescence and has made at least 5 US national teams.
