This week’s episode is with runner, coach, and art teacher Tania Fischer. Tania is a lifelong runner who qualified for the olympic trials in the 5000m in 1996, and has multiple Masters titles including the Masters win at Bay to Breakers in 2007, 2008 and 2011. She has coached high school track for over 23 years and started The Janes, an all women racing team in 2002. Tania has made her mark on the running community and has helped hundreds of runners fall in love with the sport and fulfill their potential. We discuss her routine, coaching philosophy, creativity, and what keeps her going through the pandemic.
