Paige Kouba (Harvard '16), James Randon (Yale '17), and Helen Schlachtenhaufen (Dartmouth '17) of Saucony Freedom Track Club came into the Trackhouse to talk about everything Heps - the Ivy League Track and Field Championships.
Paige is an Olympic Trials qualifier and All-American in the steeplechase. James is a sub-4 miler and All-American. Helen is a two-time Heps mile champ with a personal best of 4:11 in the 1500. They now train and compete with Freedom TC under coach Tim Broe in Boston.
The gang shared the best memories and lore of Heps past and previewed this year's indoor championships. We covered mile rivalries, lauded unsung heroes, and got the dirt on Freedom TC's wild training trip to Tallahassee this past winter. Enjoy!
