Joining me is Nate Riech, he is a Canadian Paralympic athlete and won his second world championship, recently (July) in Paris. In addition to his two world titles, Riech is also the reigning T38 1500 metre champion from the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics and the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games. 1500 metre in Paris.
Nate talks about his performance at the Canadian Athletics Championships, Langley, B.C. And, he also talks about coming from an athletic family. "His father Todd Riech competed at the 1996 Olympics in javelin for the USA. His mother Ardin Tucker was a pole vaulter for Canada… His grandfather Jim Harrison played eight years in the NHL with the Maple Leafs, Blackhawks and Bruins."
He also shares his training regime, tips, nutrition and what is next for this him.
