Episode Synopsis

The Rotations team welcomes Ohio University alumnus and surgeon, Dr. William Kline as a part of Specialty Spotlight series. The Specialty Spotlight series is focused specifically on the first and second year medical student and gives guidance on the multitude of pathways through medical education specializations.

Dr. Kline talks about what a medical student can do to optimize their exposure, to not just surgery, but all specializations while they rotate. Dr. Kline also speaks about his practice: common procedures, what he expects in medical students, conducting a private practice and new trends in general surgery. Dr. Kline also addresses his military medical practice, his humanitarian mission in Haiti as well as his relationships with primary care physicians.
