Rejection feels awesome, doesn’t it? And I mean this so very sarcastically. Rejection is one of those things that you know you are going to have to experience, but we try our hardest to avoid it. Even though this is an inevitable process, it allowed me to see something so plain as day. Like the forgotten keys left on your counter, the truth was standing right in plain sight. I finally understood why rejection potentially happens. The roots of why this painful conundrum happens ever so often to us. You see, ironically their rejection became the mirror of my reflection.
