Listen "Ep 31 How is traveling with young kids?"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome Back to Nuanced Beauty!
TODAY'S EPISODE
Freshly home from our trip to NY, we thought we'd chat through our thoughts on traveling with young kids. The beauty is that we got to take our boys to our Alma Mater and our boys bonded while sleeping in the same bedroom. Then the nuance honestly feels like it's in everything else. Trying to manage the logistics of getting kids from place to place in an unfamiliar setting, and getting them to eat and sleep when their routine has been disrupted. This is where we'd LOVE to have someone chat with us as an encouragement and perhaps a rebuttal. We have friends who have loved going on trips with their kids, and perhaps it's the perspective shift that we're missing here. Perhaps we don't have the patience and grace because our why, our purpose, for taking a trip isn't firmly established to get us up the rocky cliff. Or maybe it really is hard for everyone and they're saving appearances or using strong discretion to not over share or burden others with the heartaches. We're not sure! So that is that! Hope you enjoy our reflections today and if you'd like to be a guest to dive into why and how to travel well with kids, please reach out, I'd love to sit down with you for an interview.
