Listen "Room At The Table For You"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome to the Room At The Table podcast where we explore all things Jesus!I’m a sucker for learning how people came to Christ, why they stay with Him, and how He impacts them. As the GOAT, chain-breaker, and life-changer, I can’t get enough of hearing His miracles, heart-softening, and way-making. I’ve always loved talking about God—hence podcasting is a natural fit to my curious (nosy?), faith-oriented mindset. Room At The Table was birthed from my own interaction with Jesus during a challenging time. As I wrestled with following Christ yet not fully knowing Him, I was hesitant to truly commit to Christianity. On my knees in the midst of my crisis, I sensed Jesus inviting me to get to know Him better, whispering, “There’s room at my table WITH your doubts, Kimberly.”She said yes.On the home front, I’m a grateful wife to a loving husband and mom to four amazing kids. They’re the most rewarding and precious gifts I could ever have. I pinch myself for how blessed I am to be a wife and a mother. Besides spreading the gospel, there’s nothing more powerful and important than loving and stewarding a family. I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Special Education, and a huge heart for kids—their joy is infectious! In my twenties I taught special education, gave singing lessons in my thirties, and worked in sales and non-profits in my forties. Now in my fifties… why not podcasting? When I’m not mustering the courage to reinvent myself again, you can find me praying and loving on family, listening to podcasts (too many to choose from!), exercising, attending or leading Bible study, doing women’s ministry work, serving with RTwelve (a Christian mom/daughter service organization), hosting one of my younger kids’ sports parties, or singing for Jesus. I’m an avid reader of all things Christ. I enjoy gift-giving to people I love, and can’t get enough of laughing and connecting with my besties; they’re my chosen family rowing me Home. I love a good Netflix series, can’t turn down a batch of buttered popcorn, and I’m on my third trip through the Bible in a year.
