This week's guest is Richard Barone. Richard, founder of the seminal indy band The Bongos, discussed his project "‘MUSIC + REVOLUTION: GREENWICH VILLAGE IN THE 1960s’. Based on his recent recording "”SORROWS & PROMISES: GREENWICH VILLAGE IN THE 1960s”- a celebration of the trailblazing troubadours of that pivotal decade, featuring guest appearances by legendary artists from then and now. Richard Barone is presenting a special concert event at OUTPOST IN THE BURBS on Friday March 29th. The evening will offer a look at the music and culture of the Village of the 1960s and also feature Eric Andersen, Steve Addabbo, Jeffrey Gaines, The Kennedys, Glenn Mercer, Tammy Faye Starlite.
