Taking up the drums at age 8, within a decade ron [k] had also taught himself guitar, synthesizers, vocals, as well as how to produce and engineer his own recordings. ron had soon moved beyond the restrictions of any single genre, heading for the mélange of styles (including rock, metal, classical and electronica) that characterizes his sonic output today, which blends grinding guitar lines with chaotic yet calculated drumming, fat bass lines, ethereal synth work, and expressive male/female vocalizing.

The concept of mélange, of bringing in whatever works to craft the perfect sound, led ron to partner up with longtime friend and collaborator Jordan Shane. Jordan came on board in 2009 during the recording of Apathy. His song writing abilities showcase the lifelong passion and dedication heʼs had for music. Jordanʼs proficiency spans across many styles and genres. Starting at an early age, his classical training on piano and guitar were developed, today those talents can be heard on Stripped.

Leah Page is the femme fatale behind the vocals on Stripped as well as having appeared on the 2009 ron [k] releases Apathy as well as her debut on the seminal Grace single. Her background as a seasoned, classically trained vocalist makes her a force to be reckoned with. Her passion, desire and visions were an obvious fit with ron's overarching drive and skill set.

Jules Hodgson (K.M.F.D.M. / Spittin' Cobras / PIG) has also gravitated to the project as powerful resource. A musician, whose talent with guitar, synthesizers and engineering is disciplined and refined with a balanced blend of theory, creativity and perfectionism.

To ron and company the concept/label of "band" is nothing but a needless preconception; shackles that they will not let constrain them. Instead, ron [k] refers to this as an "Open Source Project", where multiple musicians are free to take part in any given song - at whatever capacities are called for in the moment - so as to maximally harness the creative spark, that magic of musical inspiration that cannot be planned for.

June of 2013 found their latest release, Stripped, being licensed for use in the IFC Midnight feature film Cam2Cam. Director Joel Soisson was such a fan of the band and their latest hit that he used both the studio and remix versions of the song in the film, along with featuring the remix in the official film trailer. Cam2Cam release date: August 22, 2014.
