This is message 37 in the Isaiah series.
Isaiah 39:1-8
Hezekiah’s prideful display of his wealth to Babylonian envoys brought a warning of future judgment—his treasures and descendants would be carried away. Yet, instead of grieving for what lay ahead, he was content with the peace he would enjoy in his lifetime. This moment reminds us of the danger of complacency and the need to remain faithful, not only for ourselves but for the generations that follow.
