Genesis 1:1-31
Elohim is the all-powerful Creator who brought everything into existence by His word, sustains all things by His power, and makes Himself known as the covenant-keeping God who is faithful to His promises. He is not like the false gods of the nations who are limited and powerless, but the one true God who is supreme, sufficient, and sovereign. From the very beginning He has revealed His triune nature, His authority, and His desire for relationship with His creation, showing that He alone is worthy of trust, worship, and obedience.
