Rising Tide Startups has always been about telling the story of founders globally.  And this week we have an expert in that specific space, telling your business story.  Jerome DeRoy joined Narativ in 2007 after the founders, Murray Nossel PhD and Paul Browde MD, handed him a shoebox full of notes and said, “we think there’s a company in here.” Jerome had recently left a position at BNP Paribas, Hong Kong, and came to New York to pursue a career in filmmaking. He jumped at the challenge—and so began Jerome's story with Narativ.
At Narativ, today Jerome helps companies leverage the power of story-telling by teaching them how to find, craft and tell stories that resonate through a repeatable and scalable method. He leads Narativ's listening and storytelling training programs, one-on-one coaching, and virtual work-shops for sales, team building, leadership development and onboarding.

For over a decade, Jerome has worked closely with clients as diverse as CIGNA, Warby Parker, Twitter, and hundreds of startups to craft business-relevant personal stories for sales, leadership, and team building. He regularly lectures at Parsons New School of Design in New York City on The Art of Storytelling.
