Listen "Psychological Ways to Stick to your Goals"
Episode Synopsis
When we set a goal, it is naturally going to be difficult to achieve because setting new goals requires us to go out of our normal comfort zone and do something differently. For example, if you have a desire to create better boundaries, that could mean your current relationships could drastically change for the better (or for worse). The unknown of this can create a healthy fear within you because you’re not sure if these relationships will become stronger or if they will leave you/abandon you. How do we figure out healthy goals vs. unhealthy goals? How bite-sized are these goals for you? As perfectionists, we can get into a habit of trying to perfect the process every step of the way, and what ends up happening is that you end up beating yourself up for not executing the plan perfectly. When you write down your goals, you’re able to clearly see the intention you have set for yourself. As you set these intentions in place, make a plan, and then take imperfect action. Remember, failure is not really a failure, it’s only part of the process towards reaching your goals. Continue Your Growth Journey: Kaminiwood.com
