Rise Up Nation, meet our guest Kristin Boullion! Born in Durham, North Carolina, Kristin made her way to Myrtle Beach in May of 2007 after graduating from college at UNC-Wilmington where she received her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Film Studies & Sociology, which brought her to Myrtle Beach where she worked for the local FOX TV station (WFXB) as a producer for six years. During that time she also served as a judge for the 2010 Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolina Awards. Her time in television was followed by a brief stint as content & video producer at a local marketing firm where she honed the skills needed to help market & sell real estate.    In January of 2014 she was offered an opportunity that she couldn't resist: get her real estate license & partner with one of the most experienced & successful agents on the beach: Kirk Nobles, at RE/MAX Southern Shores. She began as an unlicensed assistant, then a licensed assistant, and then a buyers' agent. Kristin married her husband, Chris, in April of 2015. Two years later, they welcomed their first daughter: Herper, and Kristin decided to venture out on her own in the real estate industry. In May of 2019, Chris and Kristin's second daughter: Mabel was born and completed their family, along with their two dogs: Walker & Memphis. During her time with RE/MAX Southern Shores, Kristin has earned her way to Platinum Club and RE/MAX Hall of Fame.   On this episode we talk about the opportunity that led her to step into real estate, living by the coast and how she deals with hurricane season, and how going to the gym is one way she rises up. Kristin also talks about how business is like the "spaghetti sticking".
