Send us a textAt this time of year, I always take the time to pause and reflect on what has been. Is business everything I thought it would be? Have things gone according to plan?We place so much focus on success and achieving our goals that often when things don’t go how we hoped they would, we perceive this as failure. But the truth is, failure is not the opposite of success. Failure is a vital part of success. In this episode, I want to encourage you to take a moment to reflect on 2022, take stock and commend yourself for your incredible efforts this year. The business journey is not linear, which is why it’s so important that we embrace change, and recognise that success is when we are being the best version of ourselves, despite the circumstances. I talk about remembering your “why” in business. Why do you do what you do? Because when you’re crystal clear on your why and use it as an anchor in your business journey, it’s much easier to navigate the ups and downs. Coming back to your values and purpose will help you to keep your head up when things don’t go according to plan. So, while you’re reflecting on the year that’s been, if you feel like things haven’t gone according to plan, remember to pause and celebrate your wins.
