Episode Synopsis
Welcome to the Rise and Walk podcast, where we dive into daily Bible devotions to inspire and guide you on your spiritual journey. In today's episode, we'll cover Jesus's purpose to fulfill the law, the importance of following God's moral commandments and teachings, surpassing the scribes and Pharisees, Jesus's fulfillment of the ceremonial laws, and striving to embrace Christ's teachings and let them shape our lives. Today's Bible verses are from Matthew chapter 5, verses 17 to 20 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law until all things have taken place. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven. I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter into the kingdom of heaven."Rise and Walk" is a daily devotional that guides you through the Bible, helping you grow in your faith and walk with God.Each day's reading includes a passage from the Bible, along with reflections and prayers to help you apply the passage to your daily lives. As Jesus told the lame man, "Rise and walk" - this devotional encourages you to rise up and walk forward in your faith journey with God.
