Episode Synopsis

You can learn a lot from exercise that translates over to real life. I've known this concept in different contexts in the past, but my run revealed another way of explaining it.When you first start your run, every time you go through that initial amping up period, followed by a quick crash of tired and exhaustion. That's your body believing you're in danger and running from a predator. If you can calm your breathing, you will catch a rhythm to stay steady for much longer. This is the same for all stress related events. It's a matter of weathering that initial storm, calming your breath, and then gaining control of your response. No excuses!
