Have you ever been around someone who wasn’t afraid of the awkward silence in the room? They sit there and allow the discussion to come to a complete standstill and still say nothing. In extreme cases, they even leave the room after several minutes of contemplation, but still say nothing. It takes great discipline and confidence to do something like that. Today Pastor Dan says this discipline is why Jesus acted in this manner when He was being accused. He remained steadfast and silent because there was nothing to say.
