Listen "Witches"
Episode Synopsis
Note: We had a pagan listener kindly reach out to use to let us know that the use of the phrase "normal folk" at the end of the episode made it sounds like we were labeling Christians as normal and pagans or witches as abnormal, and we wanted to take a moment to say that we truly apologize that our wordage came across that way, and we in no way think that pagans are abnormal. We appreciate messages like these, as they continue to help us learn and grow as people and podcasters. Please always feel welcomed to send us a message if you have an issue or thought on something that was said in one of our episodes.
Additionally, Nicole wanted us to clarify that while she was raised Wiccan by her mom and still uses Wicca as a base to her practice, she no longer identifies as Wiccan but as an eclectic Pagan.

This week on Riddle'd with Nightmares we are joined by D'laina Shearit Hunt and we dive deep into the tragic history of witches, do our best to debunk some common misconceptions and stereotypes, interview Nicole, a local witch here in Dallas, as well as embarrassingly reminisce about our Christian homeschool upbringings and awkward middle school emo days. Stay tuned at the end of the episode for our hilarious outtakes!
Check back on Halloween for our first episode of Listener Stories to start your weekend off with a fright!
