Jesus Entered into HumanityThat which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life— 2 the life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us—1 John 1:1-2And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.—John 1:142. Stop For The Onea. Stop for the one – amidst our busy schedules, day to day routines.b. Stop for the ONE first – Jesus. Jesus is our goalrelationship with the living God. He is the wellspring of missions.It is out of our intimacy with Him that we are able to be intimate with others.that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4 And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete.—1 John 1:3-42. The condition of our communities is the scorecard on how well the church is doing at being the people of God.Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.—John 14:12
