Paul Battista, Esq PT 2  has provided legal services to over 95 feature film, documentary and television projects in which he has represented either a producer/production company or an individual providing services to the project.  He has been a guest speaker at film festivals and conferences, including Slamdance Film Festival and Film Independent’s Filmmaker Forum. He lectures at film and law schools in the Los Angeles area. Paul wrote, directed and produced the low budget independent feature film Crooks (2002) which was released by Warner Home Video. His book Independent Film Producing: The Outsider’s Guide To Producing A First Low Budget Film is required or recommended reading at film, business and law schools throughout the country including:  UCLA MFA Producing Program;  NYU Film School; University of Utah Film;  Columbia College of Chicago Film; Colorado Film School;  California Institute of the Arts;  Art Center of Pasadena; NYU Stern Business School; Southwestern Law School; and Chapman University Law School.  He is licensed to practice law in California and New York
