We are given an clear image throughout scripture of His character on display in the lives of His people, namely in the profession that permeates their resumes...Shepherd. To love the sheep, to feed the sheep, to defend the sheep, to lay down your life for the sheep; all of these portray the character of God, and these same traits will be found in His children. The clear distinction between Adonijah and his father David is astounding. One thought only of himself, the other thought of the sheep. Which one best exemplifies the character of God?
