As a result of the perversion and sin of his nation, Elijah the prophet of God locked up the heavens and decreed that there would be no rain nor dew according to His word.Elijah did not issue an empty command, he spoke from the place of where he stood in the spirit. 1 Kings 17:1:And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.Elijah stood before the LORD God of Israel in his days. He was a man of spiritual stature. He had access to the mind of God because he stood before Him. He spoke from the understanding and knowledge of what he gleaned from the presence of the Lord.  Where you stand in the Spirit determines your spiritual stature.  And your spiritual stature will to a large extent determine what will respond to your command in the physical realm. This is a call for God's people to return and take their place in the spirit.Be blessed by this wonderful podcast that has increased my desire  to stand before my God!
