You’ve likely been there. Leadership announces a new “transformation” team is coming in to help change the way we work. It could be digital transformation, agile transformation, cultural transformation, it doesn’t matter.



What leadership thinks they’re saying and what the teams hear them saying aren’t always aligned. This can lead to many problems and ultimately, many times, not much actual transformation at all.



If you’re just starting out on this transformation journey, just remember that this is not something that can happen overnight, especially if the team has a very well-established culture and certain ways of doing things. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
