Matt Goolsby is joined by three financial advisors from Market Advisory Group, in studio by Larry Kloefkorn, Danny Goolsby remotely in Wichita, and Jonathon McCoy remotely in Kansas City. They answer a listeners questions concerning the best time to start collecting social security. Later, they discuss “The Lost Decade” which took place between1999-2009 and centered around S&P 500 returning to -2% after a 10 year period. Then in the “Find the Fees” they examine mutual funds and the fees they could bring about. Matt is then joined lead CPA of Market Tax Services, Joshua Cicora to chat about tax implications when it comes to social security. Next, Matt is joined by Bill Vawter, of Market Medicare Advisors to discuss spouses choosing the same Medicare plan out of convenience rather than searching for a plan that fits them better. Lastly, Matt is then joined by estate planning attorney Gerald Eidelman to talk through when someone should consider a special needs trust.
