Listen "Before IMPACT was a thing."
Episode Synopsis
Early in his career Paul Rabinovitch worked as a tree planter in the reforestation industry, personally planting over 800,000 trees in Canada, where he grew up. That set the stage for the career he pursued, first as the Executive Director at The Nature Conservancy, and then as a founder of Terracycle Investments, a socially-conscious real estate firm. Now Paul heads up Real Estate Investment at New Island Capital, one of the largest family offices in the country, and one of the first to focus on impact investment ... before such a thing really existed. New Island invests in growing companies as well as farms, forests, and, of course, real estate at scale! If you'd like to join me in my quest to rethink real estate, there are two simple things you can do.
