Jason Mackay from Walter Scott.
Jason, together with his business partner Harriet (a Graphic Designer and Illustrator), have a creative agency called Walter Scott Creative. They provide professional and personalised creative services to Clients, with unique and innovative media content across digital and print. With specialism in Media Design, Branding, Social Media Content Design, Social Media Account Management, and Social Media Marketing, a key focus of theirs is in developing a cohesive brand identity for clients, which is delivered consistently across all platforms deployed by the Client.
Jason worked at C&J Clarks International for 24 years, and in many roles ranging from a ‘Saturday’ store employee up to the position of Group Head of Product – Childrens, where he was responsible for a £100m business, and leading a team of product category managers and designers, with overall responsibility for the design and creation of Clarks’ Children’s footwear collections. Separately he was involved in developing new business opportunities for the Childrens business overseas, as well as supporting the business on many projects in the capacity as an SME for the Product / Product Development function. With previous roles in Store Planning, Buying and Merchandising, Jason has a comprehensive understanding of Retail.
