This initiative involves the comprehensive upgrade of the existing South Coast Sewage Treatment Plant (SCSTP) into a state-of-the-art South Coast Water Reclamation Facility (SCWRRF). The new facility will employ an advanced multi-stage treatment process, including preliminary, biological secondary, and tertiary treatment incorporating filtration and ultraviolet (UV) disinfection, followed by an Advanced Water Treatment (AWT) train featuring Ultrafiltration (UF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO).
