In November 1966, a strange creature appeared in an area near Point Pleasant, West Virginia that left locals terrorized. The winged creature was described as at least 7-feet tall with a humanoid body, and a wingspan of at least 10-feet. The most distinctive feature was a set of glowing red eyes. Over the next year, nearly 100 eye-witness reports were made of what became known as "Mothman" to the locals. Some say it was an extraterrestrial, while others believe it to be an unknown animal species. Others assume it was a supernatural manifestation.
