Gina comes onto the podcast to remember her Dad and reflect on their relationship. Her parents divorced when she was  about 10 years old.  Gina was very much in the middle of her parents divorce. It led to a tumultuous 10 or so years with her Father and they ultimately did not speak from age 22 to 33 for Gina. He missed major milestones in her life including her wedding. At 33 after distancing herself from her Mother- Gina reconnected with my father. She found that she was very much like him. Gina's Dad Ricky had a history of high blood pressure and severe cardiovascular disease. 7 years later he had a major stroke that ultimately sent him into rapid decline early to late stage Alzheimer’s and severe cardiovascular disease. He was dead in 15 months.
