Amy's Mom was a smoker, she had lost her husband to heart failure, and her father to Cancer. She had Emphysema and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). On New Years Day in 2016 she was diagnosed with lung cancer, but her lungs were too weak to endure a biopsy to find out how far along. Sue passed away just 15 days later at the age of 64  with Amy, her sister, and Aunt beside her.
