Listen "Linda"
Episode Synopsis
This week, we chat with Shari about her mother's relatively new diagnosis of Primary Progressive Aphasia and Vascular Dementia.
Shari is SO open about her feelings during this journey - the frustration, the guilt, and the grief...and ugh, we love it when people are just so vulnerable and honest... because we know it helps all of you (and it helps us too!). One of the biggest things we took away from this interview was Shari's amazing ability to just let her mom be. Dementia can make people have odd behaviors and it's very easy to want to correct them or get embarrassed - but Shari just seems to meet Linda where she's at and accept her and go with the flow. It's beautiful and inspiring!
At the end of the episode we learn all about fiercely independent, talented artist, Linda. Thank you to Shari for sharing her with us. We hope you enjoy the episode and please let us know what you think by commenting on the episode art on instagram. @remembermepodcast xxR + M
