Listen "51: Creativity Unleashed: Unencumber Your Creative Spirit"
Episode Synopsis
Do you want to unleash your creativity?
I used to block myself from being creative. Now, I experience a mental freedom that allows me to express myself with less hesitation.
We can plug up our creativity with perfectionism, judgements, and false beliefs about ourselves.
Do you block your creative flow? More creativity leads to better solutions, connections, and abundance.
If you want to unburden your creative spirit, listen to this episode of the Releasing Mental Tension Podcast.
Coach Aila Coats joins me to discuss how to drop the blocks that get in the way of our natural expression.
Read some of her inspiring words:
“We place ourselves in creativity jail when we’re placing a grade on everything we're up to.”
“It is a process of getting yourself off your mind.”
“(Creativity) is a dialogue with the Universe.”
“Can I tap into creative energy any time no matter what I’m thinking and see what happens?”
Aila started meditating and studying spiritual texts when she was 12 and hasn’t stopped for the past 30 years.
Her private practice includes teens, young adults and their families, as well as coaches, entrepreneurs and creatives. She runs a coaching school for professional coaches twice a year.
Aila published a book in 2023 called Coaching Teens Well ~ A Way of Being with Teens and their Parents.
Aila is passionate about supporting humans in remembering that they are not broken, but in fact are whole and complete and capable of moving through the world with peace of mind and freedom to create whatever it is that is in their hearts.
When she’s not coaching or speaking to groups, she can be found running through the mountains and swimming in the rivers with her husband and three wild and wonderful children.
