THE GUESTProfessor Jessica Vanderlelie is Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic at Deakin University, steering the Education and Employability outcomes across more than 60 000 learners. She is an Australian Learning & Teaching Fellow and led the national “Re-visioning Alumni Engagement for Graduate Success” program. In 2016 she became the inaugural Innovative Research Universities Vice-Chancellors’ Fellow, coordinating seven universities on student success, employability and learning analytics. Recently Jessica has been an advocate for universities taking on bold and transformational initiatives in a world that's rapidly being reshaped by AI, warning her peers that “the days of being a content business are over,” and highlighting that AI-first universities can personalise learning and protect equity by scaling support to underserved students.  Jessica also champions cross-sector reform as Deputy Chair of Universities Australia’s DVC Academic Committee and a member of Advance HE’s Australasian Strategic Advisory Board.THE SHOWInsights from Australia’s top education minds.
