Listen "How To Get To Grief's Sixth Phase"
Episode Synopsis
Each grief journey is different; we all go through it differently. The same goes for its five stages; it is not a linear trajectory. You might start bargaining before expressing denial, or feel depressed before angry, or you might even feel all of them simultaneously. The only certainty is you can't go through a loss and come out on the other side of it the same. Still, you can choose who will emerge from the other side of grief: a broken version of you or an evolved, purposeful, and stronger-than-ever self. For today's solo episode, I decided to touch on a subject that, sooner or later, will reach us all: grief. We'll discuss how to navigate grief, give ourselves grace, handle inappropriate or inadequate comforting words, the bright side of grief processes, and more. You'll also hear about my close encounter with grief, how I went through grief's seven stages, and how I managed to find the sixth. Tune in to episode 9 of Rekindling Ancient Wisdom, and allow me to handle the tools that might help you put a foot in front of the other in tough times.
