Predator Badlands is the eighth, or ninth film if you count the animated feature, in the long running franchise. Nearly three decades after Arnold Schwarzenegger said, "Get to the chopah!" these ugly dudes just keep coming back for more. This week, Dave, who sees more merit in the Predator films than most, talked Tod, who has skipped the entire franchise since 1997, into seeing Predator Badlands. The results are somewhat surprising. So, is this series, as Tod claims, a cash grab? Trying to squeeze another dollar out of a tired property? Does the overlap with the Alien universe give it some measure of significance?
