This week the Regular Joes take a look at Everything and Everywhere All at Once (2022) the heavily Oscar nominated film staring Captain Georgiou from ST: Discovery, Short Round from Temple of Doom, and Jamie Lee Curtis from, well … Jamie Lee Curtis. Opinions vary, but clearly If you are not at all into Marvel or the superhero genre this might be the best multiverse hopping film you saw last year … and coincidentally, the only one. Next up the Joes take a first look a The Recruit a new Netflix series about a 24 year old CIA lawyer Noah Centineo (Atom Smasher from Black Adam) who probably should not have survived his first week on the job. The Recruit, like it’s protagonist, struggles to figure out which lane it’s supposed to be in. Nevertheless, with strong creators such as Doug Liman, there is potential. There’s also the usual Random Topics and a round of WHAT’S in the Box. Thanks for listening!
